Graham Upton
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Graham Upton is the Vice-Chancellor of Oxford Brookes University, and has been since September 1997.
He is currently under active votes of no-confidence from the Students' Union and the staff unions. These votes are mostly as a consequence of his decision to change the university year from a three-term system to a two-semester one, which was seen by some as a money making exercise that took no account of the staff or student concerns.
He has announced that he is to retire in August 2007. [1]
