Grande Prairie Smoky

Grande Prairie Smoky is an Albertan provincial electoral district, located in northwestern Alberta.
Under the Alberta electoral boundary re-distribution of 2004, the constituency includes the northern half of the city of Grande Prairie and the surrounding areas to the east of the city. Its border with Grande Prairie-Wapiti within the city is Richmond Avenue and the Canadian National Railway. Clockwise from Grande Prairie Wapiti, the constituency also borders Dunvegan-Central Peace, Lesser Slave Lake, Barrhead-Morinville-Westlock, Whitecourt-Ste. Anne and West Yellowhead. Other major towns include Fox Creek, Sexsmith and Valleyview.
The current MLA for this district is Progressive Conservative Mel Knight. He won re-election in the district in the 26th Alberta general election.
