[edit] Appearances
Granny didn’t have time for Red to visit the day the crime scene occurred, as she was going to participate in the Extreme Dream Snowsports Competition. Before the race started, the old woman met with Boingo the Bunny, who was holding a clipboard and asking her to sign it. The competitors went to the starting line for the race to begin. When the horn blew, Granny, her team, and her opposing team were off in a flash. The opposing team knocked out all of Granny’s teammates, except for herself, leaving it as a fierce competition. Using some explosives to create an avalanche , Granny knocked out all the members on the opposing team, and made it safely to the finish line. However, after she had crossed the finish line, the avalanche was still after her, and her parachute was accidentally activated, sending her gliding off through the clouds. She then landed down through the chimney into her cottage, where the fan caught her parachute. She accidentally found herself tied up and gagged in the closet, just as wolf, named Wolf W. Wolf, and his squirrel companion, Twitchy were entering the house. Wolf dressed himself up in a Granny costume, threw Twitchy in the closet, and jumped into bed, just as Red arrived. Using Twitchy, Granny broke free of the closet, and saw Wolf and Red fighting. She prepared to take Wolf on, just as Kirk the Woodsman, crashed through the window, distracting the three.
Sometime later, the woods’ police force arrived, questioned the four suspects (Red, Granny, Wolf and Kirk) about how they arrived at Granny’s cottage and why. Granny was last to give her explanation, and when Red found about that her very own grandmother had lied to her, she was most hurt. She took off her hood, temporarily breaking up her relationship with Granny. Wolf, Kirk, Granny, Twitchy and the police hung around the cottage, as Nicky Flippers the Frog explained his theory of who the infamous goody bandit who was wreaking the forest was; the very same "person" who asked Granny for her signature, as well as knocking Red out of a cable car, leading Wolf and Twitchy to Granny’s cottage, and who was nearby when Kirk’s schnitzel truck was robbed: Boingo the Bunny!
Thinking the culprit lay at the bottom of the mountain, the police set out to catch him. Wolf, Granny, Kirk and Twitchy stayed behind, until they caught sight of Kirk’s schnitzel truck being driven up the mountain. Realizing that the police were heading in the wrong direction, Wolf had Twitchy guzzle down a cup of coffee, and race down the mountain and warn the police about what they were doing, while the remaining three went up the mountain to find Red.
When they did find her, they were horrified to find that Boingo had tied her up, gagged her, and locked her in a cable car full of explosives. Just outside the rabbit’s cave lair, one of his henchmen got into a fight with Granny, Wolf and Kirk. They won the fight, and Kirk dressed up in the henchman’s uniform, and went inside to distract Boingo. He didn’t do such a good job, so Wolf entered the cave, dressed as a construction worker, leading Boingo away from the cable car containing Red and the dynamite. While all this was going on, Granny clung to the roof of the cave, and tried to stay hidden from everyone, but a drop of sweat fell from her forehead, and landed near Boingo’s foot, blowing her cover. The bunny’s henchmen looked up, and that cued Granny to fall from the ceiling on top of them, and attack, while Wolf and Kirk attacked, too. Unfortunately though, the fight gave Boingo enough time to light the fuse to the dynamite, which was compacted into the cable car with Red, and also proceed to get away with his villainous deed. Granny refused to let him. She grabbed a nearby muffin pan, and skated along the cable car wire after Red. She successfully freed her granddaughter, and Boingo and his henchmen were caught and arrested by the police.
The next morning, as Red, Granny, Wolf and Twitchy were enjoying a fine breakfast, Nicky Flippers showed up, and enlisted the four to join him on the Happily Ever After Agency, and all four accepted.
Granny is rumored to reappear in the 2008 sequel, Hood vs. Evil.
