What is the meaning of being part of Gran Buenos Aires in administrative sense? AFAIK there is no separate administration for GBA. User:Ejrrjs says What? 23:21, 2 February 2006 (UTC)

Oh, there! I think it means that the dark blue ones are the 24(25?) partidos officially defined as GBA. The light blue ones are de facto part of GBA but not officially so. As regards the word administratively this is tricky for me to explain but I done think it matters that there is no single GBA authority. Its like what happened in London in the 80's and 90's. The Greater London Council had been abolished but the individual boroughs that were left would still have been described as being "administratively part of Greater London". They hadnt been transferred to other neighbouring counties or anything. They were still administered in a certain way and had certain powers because they were classified as being Greater London.
