Guildford High School
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Guildford High School is an independent school not far from Guildford High Street, on London Road in Guildford. It is an all girls school and has a good reputation throughout Surrey. Its partner school is the Royal Grammar School. It houses a Junior and Senior school. It has about 930 pupils that regularly perform well in the School League Tables making them one of the best Girls' Schools in the country. Girls are taught a variety of fun and interesting subjects following the curriculum.
Recently, the school has built a new swimming pool and gym. It has the school's crest tiled to the bottom of the pool, which was a very expensive venture for the school[citation needed]. There are a wide range of sports which can now be undertaken at this sports centre, which contains a sports hall, swimming pool, fitness room and social centre.
