Gungage
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Gungage is a third-person shooter video game for the Playstation, created by Konami. It was released in Japan and Europe, but not in the U.S.
The only plot presented at the beginning of the game is "suddenly, at locations everywhere, beasts have begun to appear and attack people".
The game takes place in a "fantasy sci-fi" world reminiscent of Elemental Gearbolt, Space Harrier, and Nausicaa, and the musical score is composed by Sota Fujimori.
[edit] Characters
Gungage features four playable characters.
- Wakle Skade
A young man who is the 'hero' for killling most of the monsters in the game.Carrys a shotgun which is capable to fire large amounts of bullets similar to a machine gun.
- Kard Berdish
An ex-officer of the corporation(the enemy), carry's a large rifle with four weapons in it.Flamethrower, missile launcher, laser and grenade launcher included.
- Steyr Harquebus
A run-away prisoner, the corporation has sent troops in order to capture her(she can be seen in the wanted papers around the game), she carrys a long pipe-like machine gun that can fire infinite amount of bullets in one second.
- Dee Van Feng
Probably a guinea pig for the corporation, she was forced to battle with the android in her first mission, she decided to escape and find her true identity. She is known as a cyborg, she carries a laser gun with powerful weapon's fitted carefully in her gun,she is the only one with an enemy tracker(shown at bottom-right side of the screen)thus possibly making her the easiest character in the game.
Each of the four characters has his/her own story, which mostly involve the same levels as the other characters, but in a different order, and with elements shuffled around in interesting ways.
