Gustav Karl Laube

Gustav Karl Laube (February 8, 1839, Teplitz – April 12, 1923, Prague) was a Bohemian German geologist and paleontologist.
In 1871 Laube became professor mineralogy and geology of the technical university in Prague, in 1876 professor of geology and paleontology at the German university in Prague.
He was active in geological research of Ore Mountains and neighbouring areas. He also served as geologist of a German polar expedition.
