Héctor Luna (born February 1, 1980 in Monte Cristi, Dominican Republic), is a Major League baseball player with the Cleveland Indians. He plays the middle infield positions and also outfield occasionally. He made his Major League debut on April 8, 2004 with the Cardinals after being drafted from the Cleveland Indians in the Rule 5 draft.
In the 2004 World Series against the Boston Red Sox, Luna appeared in only one game. In the eighth inning of the fourth game, he pinch hit for Tony Womack and struck out.
On Sunday, July 30th, 2006, Luna was traded from the St. Louis Cardinals to the Cleveland Indians for second baseman Ronnie Belliard.
