Hřensko
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Hřensko (Herrnskretschen in German) is a village in the Ústí nad Labem Region of the Czech Republic on the border with Germany. It has cca 320 inhabitants.
Hřensko is placed on confluence of rivers Kamenice and Labe. It was established during 15th century as trading location.
A large number of shops are operated by salespeople of Vietnamese origin. Many tourists come from Germany to shop and eat cheaply. In addition, the town is a portal to attractions nearby in the České Švycarsko National Park, including a gorge through which the river Kamenice flows and the Präbischtor, which featured in the recent feature film The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe
