Hall Caine Airport was the first airfield on the Isle of Man, It was used in WW1 by the RAF and between the wars served the Island as a Chartered Airfield. But after WW2 it fell into disuse as there was now three good concrete airfield to chose from, so Ronaldsway became the main airfield as it is closest to the capital. The Aifield was used by the Gliding club in th 90s but they relocated to Andreas airfield.
