Talk:Halton FM
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This is a very one sided article, and clearly displays a favourable tone to certain members of the Halton FM founding group. Many of the comments are entirely subjective and do not constitute a historical account of the formation of the radio station.
[edit] Well, well, well...
This article is laughably biased. It does though correctly reflect the schism between those involved who wished to hone their broadcasting skills and present a competent radio service for Halton “The slick jock types” and the personnel more concerned with left field off-the-wall programming aka “Batty, Livo and Skez”. Arguably the former have strived to produce compentent if derivative radio, the latter innovative radio with limited appeal.
As no original mandate for the station is given, or likely to exist, it is not possible to say which party is correct. However, one group appears to have found gainful employment in their chosen arena of radio broadcasting. The other hasn’t. Friends, the choice is yours as to which group has provided the most entertainment (intentionally or otherwise) over the years.
Long may Halton FM continue in whatever guise.
[edit] Fixed and improved
I don't think that anyone really cares about internal wrangling in Halton FM so I have taken the liberty of re-writing the article so that it looks like a history of the radio station and not a bun fight.
