Hampton railway station is in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames in south west London, and is in Travelcard Zone 6. The station, and all trains serving it, is operated by South West Trains.

The typical off-peak service from the station is two trains per hour to London Waterloo via Kingston, Wimbledon and Clapham Junction, and two trains per hour to Shepperton.
