The Missouri band formed in 1999 when Micky and Brannon, who are the lead guitarist and lead singer respectivly, began writing music together in college. They then got their friends Brandon, on bass guitar, and Ian on drums to join the band and have been writing and performing their music ever since.[3]
In 2003 they signed on to J Records who has signed bands such has Maroon 5 and singer Alicia Keys. The band has not released an official album on their record yet, though they did release a promo single briefly in 2005 locally called "Miracle". The song "Miracle" was on a demo recording that included two other songs, "Always in Love" and "Don't Look Down". There is also a video for a song called "Don't Get Better Than This". The band also recorded two album independently, "Superimpose" in 2001 and "Something for Nothing" in 2002.
On December 15, 2006 the band opened a show for Angels & Airwaves and Shinedown in Springfield, Missouri.
