They also have the Alpine Room, which spans the length of three sections, and features padded seating, a big screen tv and a full service bar, and free buffet. [edit] The Inside Connection
The inside connection, or commonly referred to as the 'pedway', connects Harbour Station to all of the major uptown malls, hotels, parking garages and offices. Patrons can easily park in the Brunswick Square, Mercantile Center or underground Market Sqaure parking garage and walk inside to Harbour Station, without ever stepping outside. The inside connection also features the Canada Games Aquatic Center.
[edit] Harbour Station Land
"Harbour Station" sits on land that used to be part of the harbour and partly derives its name from the city's Union Station passenger railway terminal which was located on the site until an urban redevelopment in the early 1970s when the railway station was demolished to make way for the Saint John Throughway. The former Union Station was used by both CN and CPR trains.
