Hartlebury railway station
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Hartlebury railway station serves the village of Hartlebury in Worcestershire. All trains serving the station are operated by Central Trains; however, Hartlebury has only a limited service, especially outside peak hours. The station is unstaffed and is about half a mile to the east of the village.
Until 1963, Hartlebury was the starting point of the Severn Valley line, which ran from here to Shrewsbury in Shropshire, a distance of 40 miles. The Severn Valley heritage railway has been preserved between Kidderminster and Bridgnorth.
