Hatzegopteryx was a large, recently discovered azhdarchid pterosaur. Found in Romania, the skull fragments, left humerus, and other bone remains indicate a huge animal with a wingspan up to 12m in width. More evidence of this azhdarchid have been unearthed in the form of a 38.5cm femur. This pterosaur apparently had a broad, robust snout and a massive mandible.
