Hazel Byford, Baroness Byford

Hazel Osborne Byford, Baroness Byford DBE (b. January 14, 1941) is a Conservative member of the House of Lords.
She is the daughter of Sir Cyril Osborne, Conservative MP for Louth, Lincolnshire from 1945 to 1969, and is a poultry farmer.
Alongside Anji Hunter, former aide to Tony Blair, and the supermodel Stella Tennant, Baroness Byford is one of the best-known alumnae of St Leonards School in St Andrews, Fife. She succeeded Dame Kathleen Ollerenshaw as the school's President.
She was made a Life peer Baroness Byford, of Rothley in the County of Leicestershire in 1996, and was also created a DBE.
