Headpins

Headpins are a Canadian rock group founded as a side project in the late 1970s by then Chilliwack members Ab Bryant and Brian MacLeod. After numerous lineup changes, they eventually brought in Darby Mills to do lead vocals.
They achieved their height of popularity in the 1980s with songs like Don't It Make You Feel (Sample "Don't It..." here). Soon after, Darby Mills was replaced by Chrissy Steele. Later, Steele went on to make her own band with Brian "Too Loud" McCleod and signed with Chrysalis records before new people who signed her onto Chrysalis records dropped her off the label. She ended up having two hits, "Love You 'Til It Hurts" and possibly one of the most underrated ballads ever, "Love Don't Last Forever."
