Heidiboy Channel
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Heidiboy Channel is a short, 15-minute film produced by contemporary media artist Martin Sastre in the year 2002.
Resembling half Heidi, half Astro Boy, Heidiboy represents an all-too-fast grown-up generation in 1980s Latin America, whose role models are the asexual-type characters found in anime, such as Candy, Heidi, Marco and Astro Boy. These people grew up during a period known as The Heidiboy Generation, one who grew up with anime in the 1980s, before its popularity exploded outside of Japan.
