Hell Hole Reservoir

The Hell Hole Reservoir is located about 10 miles west of Lake Tahoe, California, in the United States. It lies on the Rubicon River at an elevation of 4,630 feet, and is approximately 3.5 miles long. Tahoe City is located about 13 miles to the northeast. The reservoir is located in Placer County, and has a campground at each end.
