Henry Travers (March 5, 1874 – October 18, 1965), born Travers Heagerty in Berwick-on-Tweed, was a British-born actor.

A stage actor in England, he emigrated to the United States and appeared in Hollywood film productions beginning in 1933. He made his last film in 1949.
On his passing in 1965, Henry Travers was interred in the Forest Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Glendale, California.
Travers' most famous role was as the angel Clarence who comes to save James Stewart's character from suicide in Frank Capra's classic It's a Wonderful Life.
