Henry of Montferrat
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Henry (died 1044 or 1045) was the son of William III of Montferrat and Waza. He was the younger brother of Otto II of Montferrat. He and his brother were co-lords of the March of Montferrat (marchio Monferratensis) from 1042.
Probably in 1041, certainly before 19 January 1042, he married Adelaide of Susa, the heiress of the March of Turin, thus uniting the two great northwestern Italian marches.
