Hentor Sportscasters
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
These guitars are basically the Fender Stratocaster models, modified with a Shark replacement neck, Humbucker pickup and a Floyd Rose tremolo system.
The guitars were built for Alex Lifeson of Rush in the mid 1980s. The name was derived from a joke propagated by Alex in one of the band's tourbooks[1]. There was no real manufacturer called "Hentor" or model called "Sportscaster". They were simply custom guitars built on the Fender Stratocaster model.
