Hermosa Beach Education Foundation

Incorporated in 1992, the Hermosa Beach Education Foundation is a fund-raising organization for Hermosa Beach City School District. Operated entirely by volunteers, our focus is to meet the school district's educational needs by funding instructional programs in science, technology, foreign language and the arts. The HBEF enhances our schools by restoring programs cut by the state. 80% of the money raised is immediately available for essential school programs and materials. 20% is retained in a permanent endowment fund that generates income to ensure the future of these programs.
