Heworth, Tyne and Wear

Heworth is a suburb in the east of Gateshead, in Tyne and Wear, England, near to Newcastle-upon-Tyne.
It is mainly a residential area, with a few shops, clubs and public houses.
It is served by a station on the Tyne and Wear Metro, situated between Felling and Pelaw Metro stations. The station had an install by Shepard Fairey in summer of 2006 as part of the Spank the Monkey exhibition at the BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art gateshead.
