Higashimatsuura District, Saga

Higashimatsuura (東松浦郡; -gun) is a district located in Saga Prefecture, Japan.
There is only one town left in the district.

On January 1, 2005, the towns of Hamatama, Kyuragi, Ochi, Hizen, Chinzei and Yobuko and the village of Kitahata merged with the city of Karatsu (1st) to form the new city of Karatsu (2nd). After the village of Nanayama merged into the city of Karatsu (2nd) on January 1, 2006, the district has only the town of Genkai left.
