High Desert, New Mexico is a development by High Desert Investment Corporation located in the foothills of the Sandia Mountains in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It has undertaken the most environmentally sensitive development of its kind, establishing standards for design, construction and landscape. High Desert in Albuquerque is the most desirable community in the city with the best views of the valley and the mountain and air only found in altitude. Its president is a native New Mexican with knowledge of the area and its flora and fauna.
