Highlanders FC is a Zimbabwean football club based in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. It is arguably the best supported team in the Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League with a following found in all corners of the country. Since its formation in 1926, the team has been home to some of the finest footballers to ever grace the Zimbabwe soccer scene such as Ananias Dube, Billy Sibanda, Kenny Ngulube, Edward Dzowa, Andrew Jele, Tommy Masuku, Lawrence Phiri, Josiah Nxumalo, Jeffrey Mpofu, Boet Van As, Tymon Mabaleka, Gavin Dubely, Bruce Grobelaar, Douglas Mloyi, Barry Daka, Rahman "Rush" Gumbo, Mercedes "Rambo" Sibanda, Willard Mashinkila-Khumalo, Madinda "Khathazile Juluka" Ndlovu, Dumisani Ngulube, Titus "Yellowman" Majola, Peter "Oxo" Nkomo, Fanuel "Ncane Luancher" Ncube, Ernest "Maphepha" Sibanda, Adam Ndlovu, Peter Ndlovu, the late great Benjamin Nkonjera, Thulani "Biya" Ncube, Sizabantu Khoza, Gift Lunga Jnr, Tapuwa Kapini, Gilbert Banda, Johannes Ngozo, Honour Gombani but to mention a few. Highlanders continues to produce some of the finest talents in their home country.
