Template:High-traffic
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
[edit] Usage
Add this template to the top of the talk page associated with the page that is linked from a high-traffic site.
Use the syntax {{high-traffic|date=|site=|url=|small=}} where
- date is the date on which you added this template to the talk page, e.g. date=29 March 2007.
- url is the URL (including the http:// prefix) of the site that is going to hit this article heavily, e.g. http://slashdot.org.
- site is the simple description of the website, e.g. Slashdot.
- small if set to yes, makes a small version of this template
Example use:
- {{high-traffic|date=29 March 2007|url=http://www.digg.com/|site=Digg}}
By default, the template will link to the page associated with the talk page. If the talk page itself is linked from a high-traffic site, add page=talk. If both the talk page and its associated page are linked from a high-traffic site, add page=both.
