[edit] HighInBC
Hello, I am Ryan, I have enjoyed Wikipedia so much that I have created my own wiki to help me track my various personal projects. My Wikipedia name HighInBC is a reference to my enjoyment of hiking the mountains and valleys of British Columbia. If you know about photography I am always open to advice, whether general or based on what you have seen of my work.
I enjoy photography and take pictures whenever I get the chance, thank God for digital cameras because I cannot afford to buy film. I have an alternate account User:HighOnTheRoad that I use if I am using a potentially insecure computer.
I try to be a nice guy.
See the gallery of the photos I have taken for wikipedia.
[edit] Credentials
I am a King who lives in a magical forest. However, do not let the influence you in a content dispute, as we use attribution to a reliable source to confirm things, not credentials.
[edit] Current RfAs
It is important to keep an eye on these. I hate it when an AfD ends and I would have commented, so know I watch more carefully.

[edit] Early internet history for HighInBC
I was once known as Oxhlodo, a name created via random smacking of keys, then editing the results. The earliest known record of my existence on the internet is here:[1] with this response [2]. Not sure what list I was asking for but I am pretty sure the response was a joke.

[edit] A few opinions
- Personal attacks create a hostile environment that chases away productive users
- Personal attacks are still personal attacks, even if worded cleverly: "I my opinion you seem to be acting like a moron..."
- Reverting the action of another users always deserves an explanation, even if done by an admin
- Complaints that are not specific may be ignored
- Complaints that are ignored should not be repeated unless they provide new information
- If people do not respond to complaints then further action may be needed
- "Assume good faith" does not mean "Act like a sucker"
- If you apply the true spirit of consensus, instead of just counting votes, people will always complain.
