New to this type of media, I am an amateur history buff, but have enjoyed reading Wikipedia for some time. Indeed, the use of computers may well change our definition of history, recording for all time events from television news, movie footage, photos, etc. Future generations will have a much greater depth of understanding of what life was like from the mid twentieth century onwards. Wikipedia's goal of containing the sum total of human knowledge may seem ambitious now, but is well within the realm of possibility.
