HiTech Creations
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
HiTech Creations, Inc. is an independent computer game company that makes the massively multiplayer online game, Aces High for the PC. HiTech Creations (HTC) was started on April 12th, 1999 in Grapevine, Texas. The company formed soon after Dale Addink and Doug Balmos left iMagic Online. They also recruited fellow iMagic Online employees, JoAnn Colcleasure, John Guytan, Nathan Mathieu, and Veronica Newman to start the company. Roy Neese later joined the company in 2002. In 2004, Stewart St. John took over Veronica Newman's position. Then, in the spring of 2005, Carrie Brooks was brought on board in lieu of JoAnn Colcleasure's departure from the company. In December of 2006, Nathan Mathieu decided to leave the company to pursue a career with a multimedia company. He was succeeded by long time HiTech Creations collaborator/Aces High player Dan Greve.
HiTech Creations has earned many awards for Aces High, and the company's online community continues to grow. Aces High has been used by the United States Air Force to help train its pilots[citation needed]. Red Baron Pizza also employed HiTech Creations to make a flight simulator of a World War I era Stearman biplane in order to promote the Red Baron Squadron at air shows.
