HMS Worcester (1769)

HMS Worcester (1769) was a third rate completed in 1769, and was the fourth ship to be named HMS Worcester. She was of 1,380 tons, was 159 feet long and had a 44 foot beam. She was broken up in Deptford in 1816, and having been hulked in 1788. She is best known as the ship on which Lord Nelson won an acting commision in 1776 as the fourth lieutenant
