Hollywood is a small suberb of Ruidoso, in Lincoln County, New Mexico, USA and is part of the Lincoln National Forest. The population is pooled into population with Ruidoso.

A small community located on U.S. Route 70, just East of Ruidoso. First postmaster was George A. Freidenbloom. The town was originally named after Hollywood Florida . The small town's history was short-lived and shortly after, became a suberb of Ruidoso and Ruidoso Downs. The city lies under jurisdiction of Ruidoso. A post office (established 1926) as well as several homes and a few major hotels and retail outlets are what make up the city of Hollywood, New Mexico. The population is undeterminable as it makes up a variable of Ruidoso, and a small portion of Ruidoso Downs population. Notable source of town's history can be located on many ghost town websites.
