Hollywood/Vine is a station on the Metro Red line. It has an island platform, and is located directly below Hollywood Boulevard and Vine Street; the entrance/exit is located on Hollywood Boulevard and Argyle Avenue, which is one block east of Vine Street and right across the street from the Pantages Theatre. The Hollywood Walk of Fame is also upstairs. This was the terminus of the Hollywood Extension of the Red Line before the North Hollywood segment opened.
The station features two movie projectors donated by Paramount Pictures
In February 2007, Los Angeles city officials announced plans for developing land at the Hollywood/Vine station.
