Holt Fleet Bridge
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Holt Bridge is a bridge over the River Severn, at Holt in Worcestershire, England, with a span of 150 feet/46 m. It was designed by Thomas Telford, and opened in 1830. It is Grade II listed, unlike Telford's very similar Galton Bridge, which is rated more highly, at Grade I, and spans his canal at Smethwick.
It was strengthened with concrete in 1928[1].
Semicircular arches at each end, built in red sandstone, allow for the passage of riverbank foot-traffic.
