It costs about $10,000 a year to go there. Needless to say a lot of spoiled rich kids go there.
Also the old Headmaster, whose two kids went to the school, had an affair with the head of the Middle School. He used to make us go to school when there was fucking snow all over the ground and the rest of the goddamn schools were closed. One time this kid wrote 'Fuck Branch' in the snow, it was pretty hilarious because we could all see it from the second floor window near a bunch of lockers.
I read this and got a good laugh. And yes, this was in fact one of the funniest events I remember from my years at HH. I was there for 12 years of Peter Branch's tenure. I remember the numerous times that my parents had the shock of finding out we were THE ONLY school in town still open during some of the worst snowstorms. The "F(*& Branch" incident is something that a lot of us probably remember.
HOWEVER, let me say this in defense of the school: The "spoiled rich kids" that came out of my class turned out to be some of the most compassionate, caring, well-balanced, and non-materialistic adults I have ever met. You cannot blame people for their upbringing or for the fact that parents will inevitably want to give their kids what they believe is the best education possible.
