A home furnishing franchise is a franchising opportunity in the home furnishing or home improvement industry. Each franchise typically offers consumers several hundred products that can include furniture, cabinets, flooring, carpeting, and other accessories for in and around the home.
Each franchisee is required to commit to an initial investment and many franchises are responsible for paying a royalty percentage. This amount varies by franchise. Home furnishing franchises are given basic operating instructions from their parent organization. Franchisees attend training at their respective franchise’s headquarters and also on-site at a franchise. Most franchises receive ongoing training or support from the parent organization via meetings, newsletters, or the Internet.
