I protest this outrageous assault on my own credibility. If User:Yamla, who waited a full minute to revert my edit to elephant, had taken the time to look at the link I added to the edit, he would have seen that the information was correct. At the very worst I could see someone making the case that the information about the florida panther would not belong on the elephant page; that would be fine. I just thought, with all the recent negativity associated with the phrase "the elephant population has tripled," this information was in fact pertinant. The fact that Yamla not only reverted the edit, calling it vandalism, but BLOCKED me for 24 hours because of this so-called offense, is completely ridiculous. Maybe if you came down from your Ivory Tower once in a while, you would actually see that there are people out there that want to help Wikipedia. In fact, I consider your ban on me a personal attack. Please see WP:NPA.

I have decided to unblock you despite clear evidence that you are a Colbert vandal. However, I will assume good faith. Any further evidence of vandalism will result in an immediate block, however. --Yamla 16:23, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
