'Horizontal Axis' is a short film produced and directed by a group of 2nd year students of section Jasmin in Philippine Science High School Main Campus. This movie will probably be 10-12 min. long and will be put in YouTube around the end of February.

Pisay students Cara Florentino is struggling academically with several failing grades. Her best friend, the straight-uno serious student, Geneva Pascual, is trying to convince her to continue and not to quit studying- something that is causing a great deal of concern. Mean while, in the corporate world, leading scientist Julio Valencia, a top pisay graduate, is fighting an internal struggle of his own concerning leadership, national scientific progress, and he ever-present shadow of corruption. Less fortunate is his schizophrenic friend and batchmate, Sir Ma Qui Herrera, the teacher who maybe doing his best educating scholars like Clara and Geneva, but whose alter ego is the corrupt politician, Senator Catalino Salvador. This dark side to him is bent on making the most money out of Dr. Valencia's scientific breakthroughs meant to help the Philippines.
