Hot Wings (Chris Michels) is a popular radio talk show host for the Free Beer & Hot Wings Morning Show syndicated along the East Coast of the United States and centered in Grand Rapids, MI at 97.9 FM WGRD.
Hot Wings is known for the segments "What Hot Wings Thinks," a daily rant (repeated twice) about things that happen in the news.
Hot Wings is generally considered the smartest, most cerebral, person on the Free Beer and Hot Wings morning show. In a recent IQ test, Hot Wings was getting so many answers correct, so quickly, it caused his co-host, Free Beer, to blurt out, "Shut the F up!"
Hot wings is also referred to as Squidward for his uncanny impression of the character.
Hot Wings is also the only one of the three to have musical ability. He played Saxophone in the band, "The Velvet Groove Cats," a rockin' band in mid-michigan. He later showed off his musical prowess by crooning "A Girl Like You." His co-host, Eric Zane, was supposed to produce a music video to go along with the song, but like most things, Eric Zane started it, and didn't finish.
Hot Wings is alternately known as the "Mayor of Awesometown". He is also widely recognized by his ability to stare.
Hot Wings is gradually becoming an old man, as shown by his usage of the phrases "funsters", "new fangled gadgets", and his inability to pronounce the word "naive".
