Hreða is an obscure Anglo-Saxon goddess, whose function is unknown to us today. In the Anglo-Saxon calendar, Hreðmonað is named after her. According to Grimm in Teutonic Mythology, her name may be related to Old High German hruod and Old Norse hróðr, "glory". Also see Hretha. We may infer from these facts that she was important and renowned.
Nothing else is known about this goddess.
