Hugo Miguel Pereira de Almeida (born May 23, 1984 in Figueira da Foz) is a Portuguese football striker who currently plays for Werder Bremen in the German Bundesliga.

Before that he played for FC Porto, União Leiria and Boavista. He is most known for a spectacular goal from a 30-metre free-kick in a 2006 Champions League game against Inter Milan at the San Siro.

He played at every level in international competitions, from the Under-15 to the main Portuguese national team. He made his debut for the national team in a friendly match against England on February, 2004.
