Hurricane Marco
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The name Marco has been used for two tropical cyclones in the Atlantic Ocean.
- 1990's Tropical Storm Marco - hugged west coast of Florida, making landfall as a tropical depression, causing heavy rain but no significant damage to the eastern states.
- 1996's Hurricane Marco - formed in the Caribbean Sea and, while never making landfall, was large enough to drop heavy rain on Central America and Hispaniola, causing flooding and mudslides that killed eight.
