[edit] No problem
Sure, you can use my greeting. I'm glad you like it! I'm not on Wikipedia very often anymore, so if someone is using my greeting I can still feel like I'm helping out indirectly. :-) Isomorphic 03:30, 4 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Welcome to Novels WikiProject
Hi, and welcome to the Novels WikiProject! As you may have guessed, we're a group of editors working to improve Wikipedia's coverage of topics related to fiction books often refered to as "Novels".
A few features that you might find helpful:
- Our navigation box points to most of the useful pages within the project.
- The announcement and open task box is updated quite regularly. You can watch it if you're interested; or, you can add it directly to your user page by including {{WikiProject_Novels_announcements}} there.
While you are updating your userpage, don't forget our userbox {{User WikiProject Novels}}. - The project has a monthly newsletter; it will normally be delivered as a link, but other methods are available.
There are a variety of interesting things to do within the project; you're free to participate however much—or little—you like:
- Starting some new articles? Our article structure guidelines / template outlines some things to include.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask one of the members, and we'll be happy to help you. Again, welcome! We look forward to seeing you around! Grey Shadow 08:29, 25 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Novels newsletter? etc.
On the newsletter the reason is - it hasn't been issued yet. I was waiting for some news on a re-run of one of the auto generated work list (which is due to be rerun), which isn't in yet. On the collaboration, the current practice is to inform those "personally" who supported the new selected article. in this can it is "Waverley" by Sir Walter Scott which I don't think you voted for. Hope that helps. :: Kevinalewis : (Talk Page)/(Desk) 09:15, 7 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] The Catcher in the Rye
Please take another look at the entry for The Catcher in the Rye. This article suffers from bias and editorial commentary. I am working to clean it up, but believe it requires a "starter" rating until it gets into form. Thank you. Bluestripe 00:05, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
