I-485/South Boulevard (LYNX station)

The I-485/South Boulevard is a light rail station on the LYNX light rail system in Charlotte, North Carolina. It is the southern terminus of the Blue Line. The station has been designed for commuters in mind with the stations location not far from the I-485 Outerbelt.
A large underground parking garage being built to serve commuters from southern Mecklenburg County and South Carolina. The garage is being constructed in a ravine adjacent to Sterling Elementary School. Once completed, the garage will have 1,100 parking spaces at a cost of $22.9 million.[1] Additionally, due to the garage being built in a ravine, the top floor will feature a playing field for the adjacent school.
Attractions adjacent to this station include the Carolina Place Mall.
