I Can't Wake Up
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
"I Can't Wake Up" is a song by KRS-One from his debut album Return of the Boom Bap. The song is about a dream by KRS, in which he dreams of being a blunt and obviously cannot wake up. The song features a reference to Redman's song How to Roll a Blunt from the album Whut? Thee Album. KRS also mentions many famous hip hop stars and groups that smoke him (the blunt) in his dream, including Black Sheep, De La Soul, Cypress Hill, House of Pain, Redman, Kid Capri and Grand Puba. Former President Bill Clinton is mentioned as saying he'll smoke, but he won't inhale.
