I Wish That I Had Sammy's Girl is an episode of the U.S. television sitcom Yes, Dear.

Greg comes home and finds Logan threatening to squirt him with the hose. Greg warns Logan not to spray him. Greg runs in the house just in time. Kim tells Greg that Sam has a girlfriend, Claire. Kim says she is coming over tomorrow for a play date. Christine says she wishes that Logan had a girlfriend. Kim sends Greg outside to cook some food on the grill and Logan sprays him.
The next day, Kim tells Sam to be polite to Claire and Greg tells him not to dress up like a princess even if Claire promises not to take the pictures to school. Sam and Claire go in the kitchen for cookies. Later that day, Kim shows Greg Sam and Claire outside playing hide and go seek. While Sam is counting, Claire and Logan take off bike riding. Greg tells Kim that Logan stole Claire from Sam.
Kim and Greg are setting on the couch with Logan in the corner. Jimmy and Christine walk in and ask The Warner’s why Logan is in the corner. Kim tells them that Logan kept trying to steal Claire. Jimmy and Christine tell Logan that he can leave the corner and that they are making a big deal about it. Logan tells Jimmy that Claire said she likes him better. Greg and Kim asks Jimmy and Christine to forbid Logan from playing with Claire. Logan comes in the house and asks if him and Claire can ride bikes Saturday. Greg tells him no, but Jimmy tells him yes.
Greg buys Sam a new bike and tries to teach him to ride it, but he keeps falling. Kim tells Greg that they need to fight fire with fire. Christine shows Jimmy Logan and Claire playing together. Logan is pumping up Claire’s bike tire when Sam comes in driving a mini-car. Jimmy says they only have one seat until Sam drives up in another one. Claire hops in the other one and her and Sam drive off leaving Logan standing there. Greg and Kim wave from the kitchen window to Jimmy and Christine in the guesthouse laughing. Kim tells Greg the cars were a great idea.
Sam comes in the house and tells Kim that his arm itches from petting the dog. Kim and Christine go to see what dog he is talking about. They find Logan and Claire playing with a puppy in the backyard. Jimmy and Christine wave to The Warner’s from the guesthouse window laughing. Kim and Greg go out back and yell at The Hughes. Jimmy says he found the dog walking down the street. Greg accuses him of stealing a dog. Greg calls Logan a gigolo. Kim tells Christine that Sam is cuter than Logan. Jimmy says if there were no toys or dogs, Logan would be picked over Sam. Christine says to put Claire in between Sam and Logan and let Claire pick. They agree, but Claire’s mother catches them and takes Claire home with her. They all apologize to each other. The owner of the dog comes to take the puppy back. He says his 5 year old daughter would be upset if they dog went missing. The Warner’s and The Hughes’ race to get to his house.
