Talk:Icesus

These are the deleted player reviews I thought it might be useful to save them here as they are important to understanding icesus but had no real purpose in the article.
Player note: This game while fantastic is largely elitest and posseses some of the most racist and bigoted players to be seen on the net. If you want anti-american gaming, and a rude and immature player base, you have found your mud! The skill system is immense and largely underrated. A HUGE world with many many options for exploration. Day and night, hunger, scavenging, pvp, magic, hunting, are all available within, but not limited to just those options. This is one of the most amazing games in the world (text based, and authors opinion known to be fact within his own household.) It is definately worth trying out. You may wish to explore your client options as many users have found that the built in tel-net program offered by windows is lacking many of the valuable options otherwise available in many-a mud client. (I suggest Zmud from Zuggsoft.com) You can find me in game! I love to help and welcome anyone to join and explore with me and talk about new ideas for the game world. Just send me a tell after you read the newbie information. Yoz~
Another player note: Consisting of mature players in terms of age, Icesus gives an unique opportunity for roleplaying. It consists of drinking booze, mutilating mobs and sometimes having fun while at it. Icesus is one of few games where having fun while doing party-exp is not counted abusing game system. Newbie helping is friendly but everything else will be up to person itself. Community consists of finns and "foreigners", there is humongous amounts of sexism, gay-humor and outright insults against everything. Roleplaying is encouraged, but you will see gnome cussing and pissing in fountain rather than valiant knight in his armour saying "Thee". Racism and gay-humour (again) are Icesus' communitys view on roleplaying.
Yet another note: It is a decent game, a steep learning curve and endless hours of exp grind await those who play it, but that said I have spent years there and still struggle to build a team to attempt the more challenging equipment monsters and explore the newly released zones. The greatest downfall of this game is the decreasing player-base.
