Syed Iftikhar Kazmi is a senior journalist and was editor of many national and local daily Urdu newspapers including Daily Din. Now he has moved into electronic media. He is now working for Star Asia's head office in Pakistan.
He began his journalism career as a columnist for Gulf News. He later become editor of daily Sun Karachi.
Kazmi has also written plays for television, but his most successful work is in theater and fiction writing. He has translated many English and Arabic writers into Urdu.
